Furniture Care Tips: Stone

Engineered stone, including CaesarStone and quartz, is often chosen for table tops given its durability, resistance to heat, and cool finish. CaesarStone can be cared for simply by wiping down with soap and water, or a mild detergent. Avoid using strong commercial cleaners and solvents. Finish by wiping down with clean water to remove any product residue.

Terrazzo stone is beautiful, but delicate. The main tip for cleaning is to avoid all-purpose household cleaners/soaps/detergents and vinegar. Neutral cleaners, or preferably plain water, should be used to deal with spills and stains.
